ARTISTIC ACTIVITES
I am a full-time practicing artist.
I also work one day a week in the sculpture/installation workshop at OCADU.
My recent art practice focuses on two-dimensional painting. I paint en plain air and in the studio – mainly landscape, sometimes incorporating objects or figures into the landscape.
This past summer I painted in Yoho and Banff National Parks and in the Prairies. Recent studio work has evolved to include figures in historical landscapes and the inclusion of symbols of technology.
I continue to work towards future exhibitions. I also continue to ‘play’ with sculptural ideas.
